Ethically Sourced Materials:ANUPA brand supportsVietnam’s local community
SUSTAINABLE Brand
All materials used to create ANUPA’s unique handmade accessories and clothing have been ethically sourced using the best production practices. Furthermore, supporting the local community is an integral part of the creation of each ANUPA piece. The eco-luxury brand’s designer Anupa Horvil works with local artisans who tan the leather, cut the semi-precious stones and hand sew the beadings.
Materials Used from ANUPA
Leather
Semi-precious Stones
The leather used for the creation of ANUPA leather goods is sourced from farms. The eco-luxury fashion brand works with tanneries using ISO compliant processes that often use tanning techniques from other industries such as footwear and furniture to develop softer and durable leather. Newer editions of leathers which have been used in recent collections are the tilapia fish which is one of the most common fish eaten on our planet.
Thread
One of the most important materials in the production process is the thread. The quality of the thread determines how a product wears and how much weight the bag can handle. ANUPA uses a non-snap water-resistant thread throughout its production.
Zippers & Parts
Zipper and metal parts where possible are made from scratch and are kept nickel free and durable as possible.
All semi-precious stones used in the handmade unique ANUPA accessories and the tourmaline signature are ethically sourced and cut in Vietnam. Cutting of gems is kept to traditional methods which are all done by hand, the stones are not chemically treated to maintain the natural cut and colour of the gems.
Lining
For us at ANUPA is a must that all eco- luxe products have to look as great on the inside as they do on the outside. Resilient washable nylon is selected for the linings so the pieces last over time.
Base Structure of Bags
The eco-luxury fashion brand uses a recycled rubber base often used in track athlete or sprinters shoes, this helps to keep the leather bags lighter in weight.
Packaging
All ANUPA purchases are presented in a reusable packaging bag to ensure each piece is protected when it is stored.

The Eco-Luxury Brand ANUPASupports Vietnam’s Local Community
The distinctive tourmaline signature of ANUPA which is sewn into each leather piece represents a beading unique in colour and design for each leather product.
What is very special about the beading is that every single bead is hand sewn by stay-at-home mothers working during daylight hours. These talented artisans are trained to sew the beads on a water- resistant fabric using a technique especially created by Anupa Horvil which ensures the beading is stable and doesn’t break. The non-snap thread used has been especially created from the designer.
As simple as this work may look, it is incredibly complicated and difficult to perfect, and I am proud to say I have realised this vision.
